ps3 system update

Whats new in this one??

I just started ps3 and its found version 2.36

i dont know i just had to do it as well

I think this is 3rd or 4th one

Do they all take up disc space or does the new one replace the old one

Good question. I'm guessing it isn't on the same portion of the hard drive as the stuff for games, pictures, videos, etc are, though.

Ah.... are our drives partitioned then 1 section for game saves music ect... then another for system stuff?

Someone just told me the new update is meant to enable in game messaging? Anybody confirm this?
