NCAA Football 09

Is anyone else going to get this game? Im still trying to make up my mind whether I should or not. I was very disappointed in last years game but I played the demo for this and it was much much much better. Just curious if anyone else is going to get it.

Umdoubtedly I will pick it up. I played last years quite a bit and liked it for the most part. The superstar/campus legend is kindof cool though it gets repetitive and very frustrating using any player outside of QB or RB.

The only really disapointing thing is the dynasty mode, I agree it is deep and well thought out, but it simply takes waaaaaay too long. I love recruiting, I actually have an account with Rivals.com who tracks football and basketball recruiting. However it is extremely time consuming and frustrating when I find a player that has me as his #1, 2 or 3 school, I figure out what pitch he needs to get him excited for my team, I then go undefeated for the season, give him promises (which are a cool freature by the way) to entice him even more...all to have him sign with some other random school. If it only happened once or twice I would understand, but to use some much time on a few guys, think you have him all locked up, do everything perfect and then miss out makes no sense. i know i cant sign every single player, but i miss a lot more then I hit.

However, the end story is that yes, I will end up buying this, I love my Florida State Seminoles, and by having my Rivals account I really get to know the team, players and coaches. I follow them year round, checking out workouts, drills, recruiting and other things are going (its pretty cool).

I agree Rival is a awesome sight. How about that Miami recruiting class coming in this year .

Miami had one of the top incoming classes. I think we ended up as no. 5 in the country. We got 3 out of the top 5 linebackers in the country as well as 2 of the top 10 safetys. Very good class! Not to mention Marcus Fortson who is the best incoming DT.

I am EXTREMELY excited about our class this year, and very happy with how things for next year are coming together already!

Nigel Bradham, Vince Williams and Nigel Carr = an insane LB recruiting class

I am happy with our QB of the future in EJ Manuel (who by a few recruiting experts was prefered to Tyrelle Pryor).

We also added some really nice JUCO players, Corey Surrancy should be a beast and Markus White has star potential as well (White was the JUCO defensive player of the year).

As prized 2009 recruit Jaccobi McDaniel has said:

"We are putting the fear back into the spear!"
