Rangers FC - 2008-09

Post by Lewnics on Mon Jun 16, 2008 11:57 am

Rangers have made the first two signings of the 08-09 season, Andy Webster & Kenny Miller.

Webster was a great defender during his time with Hearts and I am sure if he can achieve the same level of fitness and ability this coming season then he and Cueller will compliment each other well.

Miller has arrived back at Ibrox under a cloud of controversy, some sections of the Ibrox support state that he shouldn't be at Ibrox for:
A: being a celtic badge kisser (i never ever saw that TBH)
B: not being good enough.

I think that Miller has shown that he has a lot of potential and has needed to find the perfect striker to complement him, I think Boyds the man in that respect. Also Walter Smith has the knack for getting the best out of his players and will be the real manager that Miller has not had in the last few years.

£380'000 aint a lot in todays football market but I am sure Starchan will still spend it on another Virgo or Donatti. If thats the case I awill offer to pay more money out my own pocket and he can buy a team full of Donattis lol

How do rangers supporters see Demarcus Beasley?

Personally he has never really impressed me playing for the US

Beasley hasn't yet showed his true potential I dont think, we haven't really had a chance to see too much of him as yet due to his injury, hopefully the coming season will show us.

Theres no doubt he has good pace. My problem with him that ive seen with US is that he isnt very physical and sometimes it appears he shys away from a defender
