Lol, I think this thread is triggered by the fact that Christian Ronaldo rubs some non-man. united people or even fans the wrong way. However, the question I would ask is do you really hate Manchester United as a team or is the hatred being generated towards particular player or players for instance Ronaldo?

We can not take away the fact that they are a good team and they have won numerous titles beating some of the best teams whether it is boring or lucky goals. The fact still remains they do score goals and they do win games. Ferguson seems to be doing something right with the resources he has and thats a plus for any manager and team.

Do I hate man. united? Hmmm... lets see. Hate is such a strong word. I dont like the fact that they beat Chelsea twice in getting the last two major titles. So for that I dont really care too much for them simply because I never really liked especially in football the teams that majority cheers for or the favorites. I like the teams that are underdogs that people say couldnt, cant, wont, or will not. But this year it is Chelsea's year, YEAH MON!

By the way Som, do you remember when Liverpool use to dominate the premier league winning numerous titles with John Barnes, Ian Rush just to name a few? What would you say is the difference today between liverpool winning then and manchester united winning now? Hey mon, yeah of course, and it was more before the days of barnes and rush, they we're on the end of a magnificent time for Liverpool. But back then any one of ten teams could win the title and football wasnt all down to money. It was more down to pure heart and desire to win. Liverpools achievements in that particular era i think are slightly better than man utd's current reign, Liverpool were also winning european cups regularly while knocking off the title - with fierce competition from everyone in the top half of the table. Not just chelsea or arsenal.

Whats the difference ... between liverpool winning then and man utd now ... ? It depends what you mean mon ?
But there is one thing you can learn from Man Utd and that is, to foster a winning mentality, a managerial heirarchy and player respect you must keep your manager for a long long time and let him work at what he needs to. Sir Alex is a fine manager and the heart of the club - these teams who sack their managers every year or two will not get anywhere as there is little stability within the club because of it.
